114m Lloyd Werft-built Superyacht Luna Listed for Sale

Built in 2010, the steel and aluminium yacht features naval architecture developed by Lloyd Werft’s in-house team. The vessel ranks as the world’s second-largest expedition yacht. Newcruise handled exterior styling, with Donald Starkey responsible for interior design. Luna underwent a major refit in 2015/16 and is presently receiving further upgrades.

The yacht houses 18 guests in nine staterooms, with the owner’s deck featuring a master suite and private lounge area. Crew quarters accommodate 51 personnel. Vertical transportation is provided by a passenger elevator connecting the cabin deck to the observation deck.

Luna’s signature feature is her substantial 12-metre by 5-metre swimming pool surrounded by sunbathing areas. The main deck includes a raised aft section added during the refit, enhancing the vessel’s profile.

Aviation facilities include dual MCA-certified helicopter landing pads positioned forward and aft, equipped with fire suppression systems and nighttime landing capabilities. A dedicated helicopter team handles landing operations, maintenance and fire safety.

The bridge deck layout includes an owner’s office positioned across from a conference room. The main saloon provides sofa seating and formal dining space for 18, with outdoor dining available aft.

Onboard facilities comprise a dancefloor, cinema, beauty salon, beach club, fitness center and Jacuzzi. The lower deck houses the beauty salon and beach club, incorporating spa facilities with steam room, plunge pool and sauna.

The fitness center sits portside at water level, equipped with a fold-down balcony and sun loungers. Storage for tenders and smaller craft is provided in two large garages.

At 5,655 gross tons, Luna incorporates an ice-strengthened hull designed for polar operations. Power comes from a diesel-electric propulsion system delivering 17 knots cruising speed and 22 knots maximum. The vessel carries fuel for 9,500 nautical miles. Four zero-speed stabilizers provide stability at sea and anchor.

Luna is berthed in Hamburg, Germany with an asking price of €270,000,000.
